Mrs. McDaniel's Newsletter

I wanted to take a minute and thank everyone for such a wonderful school year. It was a fantastic school year and it couldn’t have been that way without all of your support at school and at home. I truly enjoyed getting to know each one of your children and feel lucky to have had such a phenomenal class.
I made a little DVD for each kiddo with pictures from the school year, and your child should be bringing it home today. It should work on a laptop or DVD player.
I know that multiplication and division will be a big concept again next year, so keep practicing math facts at home. Writing will also be a focus next year. A way to practice is having your child write about what they have done throughout the day or the week; be sure to look for consistent main idea, logical order of events, and at least two paragraphs with five to seven sentences in each paragraph.
Please, stay in touch and let me know if there is anything that I can do to help in the future.
Have a great summer!
Tomorrow is the last day of school. Dismissal will be at 11:30. Your child will just need something to sign yearbooks with tomorrow.
