Self Reflection

Top 3 Career Clusters

  • Artistic

People with artistic interests like work activities that deal with the artistic side of things, such as forms, designs, and patterns. They like self-expression in their work. They prefer settings where work can be done without following a clear set of rules.

  • Social

People with social interests like work activities that assist others and promote learning and personal development. They prefer to communicate more than to work with objects, machines, or data. They like to teach, to give advice, to help, or otherwise be of service to people.

  • Investigative

People with investigative interests like work activities that have to do with ideas and thinking more than with physical activity. They like to search for facts and figure out problems mentally rather than to persuade or lead people.

Introverted people don't draw out energy from social meetings, and gatherings. They may enjoy them, but unlike Extrovert people, they are often exhausted after long periods of social interactions, especially when dealing with strangers

Intuitive people 'see the big picture'. They learn better through understanding the big why or theories rather all the small details.

Feeling people make choices based more on how they feel about a situation rather than facts and details. They take in account how they feel, how others feel about it, and my values.

Perceiving people often appear to others as open to new things and experiences, more spontaneous. Rather adept to the world than adapt the world to them.

INFP personalities are true idealists, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. While they may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy, INFPs have an inner flame and passion that can truly shine. Comprising just 4% of the population, the risk of feeling misunderstood is unfortunately high for the INFP personality type – but when they find like-minded people to spend their time with, the harmony they feel will be a fountain of joy and inspiration.

Important Factors of Work

In a job, one of the top things I seek a sense of achievement. I want to be satisfied with what I do. I don't want to go through the motions, and feel nothing for what I do.

I want to be independent. I don't want to have someone holding my hand while I work, and I don't want to hold someone else's hand.

I want to get along well with my co-workers. Work is a large part of life. I don't want to spend it around people I dislike. At the very least I want some respect from my bosses or co-workers.

In conclusion

I should continue looking for jobs where I can be independent, am able to think creatively, and that gives me a sense of achievement. I should look into occupations in the arts. I probably won't enjoy highly managed jobs. I plan on looking on these jobs.

Translation and Interpritation

I'd be highly independent. I'd be able to use existing knowledge to figure out what the speaker is trying to say, and to relay that to another person. Finally figuring out what the speaker is trying to say gives me a sense of achievement.

Graphic Design

This would give me free range to design and interpret what my customer wants. I'd get to do something I enjoy. Finishing up an art project like that brings me satisfaction.

This job would give me free range out side of work to do what I want. It has a stable pay that would meet my lifestyle choices. Plus I'd be able to work around books, as I deeply enjoy reading
