Ben's Lighthouse Festival: 2013 Safe Place Sculptures

ATTENTION COMMUNITY MEMBERS

If you contributed individual or family pieces at a "Safe Places" workshop hosted by BLH or RCN we invite you to pick up your or your child's "Safe Place" sculpture anytime during the BLH Festival. At the closing of this year's BLH Festival we will be recycling the pieces of all individual sculptures for future art making needs of your community.

The Emerald Sketch Lighthouse, the Ice Cream Social Cone, the Capitol Social Connections Abstraction, Our Safe Nest and the interactive installation created this Saturday will all continue to remain whole examples of the beautiful sculptures the Newtown and Sandy Hook communities have created together with the guidance of your art therapy response team.

If you are unable to attend BLH Festival and you want to pick up a sculpture at another time please email Nicole at info@emeraldsketch.com by June 12th, 2014

Emerald Sketch Community Exhibit and Interactive Social Art therapy Installation

The Emerald Sketch art therapy team will be exhibiting the Safe Places Capitol Exhibit Sculptures together one final time. The works were created by community members during previous Art therapy events in cooperation with Ben's Lighthouse or the Resiliency Center of Newtown. All of the works available for viewing were displayed at the Hartford State Capitol December 13, 2013.

We love Ben's Lighthouse and we are happy to be involved for another festival.
