A Message From the Guidance Counselors

SurveyWorks is coming soon!

The SurveyWorks survey is coming soon! The window will be open from February 3 - February 14 for all. Please take a moment to provide your feedback about the great things happening at Ferri. More details will be sent home later this month and will be included in the February newsletter.

Attendance Matters!

Please ensure your student is in school every day and on time to promote academic success!

Based on the student handbook, students that are tardy 3 times will receive a 2 hour detention. We have begun counting tardies on October 1st.

We appreciate your help to get students to school on time.

Starting in October, we will be using the Attendance Nudge, a tool from the RI Department of Education. Parents will receive notification regarding student absences informing them of the amount of school students have missed compared to other students in their grade.

It is essential that students attend school everyday!

Big picture

Unified Club

Ferri began hosting a Unified Club once a month on October 28th. The goal of this club will be to unite ALL children of Ferri Middle School by participating in various activities to promote inclusion, social justice, and community involvement. By students participating in this club, we will continue to foster leadership skills, problem solving, tolerance, patience and communication skills that all students will be able to demonstrate within the school community.
