Summer Reading and Digital Books
During the summer, students will have access to the portal resources along with our Destiny collection of over 600 electronic books and 70 audiobooks. Numerous studies have shown the importance of reading during the summer. Students who read over the summer months maintain or improve their reading skills while students who do not typically lose some of the reading achievement gained during the previous school year. Assist your child in becoming an exceptional reader by encouraging reading throughout the summer and engaging him/her in conversations about books. Our librarian recommended resources and Libraries Unlimited website include extension activities and fun summer projects.

Library Resources Update
Thanks to the tremendous support of our PTA and parent volunteers, our 2019-2020 library fundraisers were an astounding success! Our Spring Book Fair generated over $2,200 in cash profit and over $2,600 in free books for the library and classrooms. The cash profit will enable us to purchase additional print books, electronic books, and makerspace materials for the library.
Thank you for your continued support of the Granger library program!
