2021-2022 has officially come to a close. What a year it's been. We made it through a variety of challenges and overall I am pleased with how we fared through them all.

With the end of a school year brings the excitement of summer and looking forward to moving on to the next grade. It also brings some bittersweet moments as we say goodbye to some people. Our grade 4's are moving on to grade 5, and while we know they will do awesome in middle school, we also will miss them in the hallways and classrooms at Elmdale. We are also saying goodbye to some students who are moving. Whether you're moving across town and will be attending a different school, or moving across the country, we will miss you greatly and wish you all the best in your new adventure.

Lastly we say goodbye to some staff. Mr. Hart and Ms. Rogalsky's terms at Elmdale are coming to an end and we will miss the support they have provided as EA's. In their short time here Mrs. Schneider and Mrs. Torrie have made a huge impression here at Elmdale. We wish Mrs. Schneider all the best as she moves to Southwood, and Mrs. Torrie as she moves to SCS. Ms. Redekop's 17 years at Elmdale are coming to an end. We are thankful for what she has done for our music program. Even kids who may not love music, loved going to music class because Ms. Redekop knew how to make it fun. She has taught us all a love and appreciation for music and been a hugely valuable person on our staff team. Thank you for all of your hard work on concerts, assemblies, performances and in day-to-day music classes. We will miss you greatly and wish you all the best at Niverville Elementary next year.
