Monday, September 14th
Students who are participating in our meals program will receive two breakfasts and lunches on this day.
Tuesday, September 15th
No meals will be served.
This is considered a school day for students. Teachers will be sharing assignments that students can work on independently throughout the day.
Rest Well Ms. Saunders
Students who were originally assigned to Ms. Saunders class will continue to go to another 4th grade homeroom through this upcoming week. Beginning the week of September 21st, they will reconvene as a homeroom with a new teacher.

Materials and Device Update
Our supplies arrived back at New Castle on Thursday afternoon. We began contacting families on Friday to let them know that devices and materials were available to be picked up. We will be making many more phone calls on Monday, September 14th.
If you need materials and/or devices and do not hear from someone at the school by Wednesday, September 16, please reach back out.
The following books are currently on backorder across the district:
1st Grade- Biscuit ELA book
4th Grade Math Textbooks
5th Grade Math Textbooks
Teachers started reaching out this week to contact their students. If you have not already heard from your child's teacher, feel free to reach out to Ms. Ross directly (email@example.com) and she will make that contact for you.
Meal Delivery During Remote Learning
Thank you for being flexible with the first week of meal delivery.
We hope that your children have enjoyed the meals and snacks provided!

Vising the School Building
For the week of September 14th, the building will be open:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
If you call outside of these hours, it is likely that no one will be there to answer your calls. Email is the most efficient way to contact the school at this time. We have divided the grade levels amongst the administrators to help you determine where to address your questions.

Our mission at Life Health Center-School Based Wellness Center( LHC-SBWC) is to educate, uplift, and empower youth with the tools necessary to set, develop, and achieve goals towards attaining brighter futures. Services that we provide are but not limited to:
Virtual/Remote session with Medical Doctors, Mental Health Clinicians and Nurse Practitioner
Behavioral Health and Prevention Services
Individual and Group Counseling Services
Pediatric Services(ear infections,physicals, immunizations,flu shots, etc)
Connecting families to Social Services Agencies
Health Insurance Enrollment Assistance

Registration is still happening...AND NOW YOU CAN DO IT ONLINE!
We are still accepting registrations...especially for our new kindergarten students!!
Step 1: Find your Child’s Feeder School
A student’s feeder school is the school that the district assigns the student to attend. Use the online School Locator Search to locate your feeder school district and local elementary school.
Step 2: Prepare and Gather Your Documents
We will need several supporting documents to complete your child’s registration.
You can take photos or scan in these documents.
The following supporting documents are needed for registration
- Your valid Delaware Driver’s License or Delaware ID Card
- Your Child’s Official Birth Certificate
- Proof of Residence (such as a Current electric, water or sewer bill or signed rental lease, deed or settlement agreement)
- Immunization Records Grades K-6 • Grades 7-12
