Computer Literacy - Delaney
Algebra and Geometry - Cerutti
Algebra - We have done a week of review work. Next week we begin our first unit on solving equations and inequalities.
Geometry - We have taken our first benchmark assessment and have
begun our Foundations of Geometry unit.
Social Studies - Marshall
The kids also took the EOC for this class as a pretest. We will be using the score from this EOC pretest, later this year, as data for the improvement of knowledge in what they have learned in this class.
The AGE OF EXPLORATION UNIT will begin next week. Students have already begun working on the vocabulary and atlas worksheets for this unit. These assignments were collected on Friday 8/23.
All grades will be updated no later than Tuesday 8/27.
Automation and Robotics - Eastep
Students began their engineering notebooks and are working on learning the different part names in the class to build mechanisms. The mechanisms they focused on this week are: belt drive, simple gear train, and bevel gear. They will be assessed on their knowledge of what each mechanism can do/and purpose as well as their build quality.
ELA - McCarty
Next week students will work on constructed responses and reader empathy through songs and short stories
Homework this weekend is to read AND complete the five reflections in Google Classroom.
