I want to wish the NRHS community a Happy Thanksgiving and express my gratitude for the privilege of being a part of this wonderful community. There is strong research about the positive impact of giving thanks on our mental health and wellbeing. Check out this article from Harvard Health: Giving Thanks can Make you Happier.

Thank You NRHS and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Best,

Dr. Kathleen Boynton, principal

Students in Ms. Peer's entomology class made masks or giant sized insects for Halloween. They researched an assigned insect. The research included external anatomy measurement along with basic information. Students also need to explain why the insect is scary!

Dee Bus Update

DEE BUS update/reminder:

With the upcoming inclement winter weather season we would like to remind students that they should be outside at their stops even during the inclement weather days.

For those students on buses 7 and 10: these routes will be starting 5 minutes earlier on Monday, November 28. This is to build in a little buffer for the slow going wintery mornings. Please have your students at their bus stop locations 5 minutes earlier than they have been.

Thank you very much,

Dee Bus
