SPARK is Igniting Young Minds!

Our SPARK enrichment program is off to a great start, and the students are having fun exploring their own interests and learning new skills in their chosen clusters. Due to the holiday this Friday, our SPARK clusters will meet this week on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 8:15- 9:15. Parents are welcome and wanted, so please come share your interests with a group of enthusiastic students.

Academic Games team starts the year off strong!

Please join us in congratulating all of our 4th grade participants in PROPAGANDA, the first Academic Games Tournament of the year. Pete Metzinger, Carson Cody, Ben Kornman, Matthew Fanelli, Ellie Gardner, Andrew Rooney, and Henry Swope took part in this year's tournament, and we are so proud of their efforts and accomplishments. Keyboarding Without Tears at home!

Our computer teacher, Mrs. Segura, has set up individual accounts for the fourth graders to be able to practice their keyboarding skills at home. Please look for a flier in this week's Tuesday (green) folder with step by step instructions to help your child log in to Keyboarding Without Tears and practice his / her keyboarding skills at home.

First and Fourth Graders Buddy Up!

In keeping with a St. George's tradition, the first and fourth graders will buddy up this year to build new friendships while participating in various activities together throughout the year. Our first activity will take place on Friday, Oct. 30th, when the two grades get together to read with their buddies and engage in some spooktacular Halloween activities.
