Collection Development Webinar from SLL BOCES
Creating and Refining School Library Collection Development Guidelines *CTLE Approved*
School Librarians, if you haven't taken a look at your Collection Development Guidelines in a while, now is the time! In this webinar, you'll be given a starting template (or you can use your own), and we'll examine guidance from the ALA and other experts in order to create written guidance for acquisition and deselection of library materials, as well as the reconsideration process for challenged library materials. We'll make a plan for presenting your updated document to school administration and will discuss potential steps in the approval process. A Zoom link will be provided to registered participants prior to the workshop date.
