What is the Wildcat Week in the Review?

The Wildcat Week in Review is a weekly content newsletter that showcases some of the learning opportunities that are happening at Lincolnton Middle School. Each week we will highlight a different content area, alternating between core and elective classes.

6th Grade ELA

Mrs. Todd's classes are working on plot diagrams and reading "Lucky Lips". Ms. Christopher's classes are using diagrams to gain an understanding of the elements of plot.

7th Grade ELA

Mrs. Neill's classes are practicing Hammer the Grammar and Mr. Smith's classes are working on identifying parts of speech. Both classes are reading the short story "Seventh Grade" by Gary Soto.

Mrs. Crowell's classes are writing a paper about "The Lucky Necklace". This is helping them learn about theme. Mrs. Arrowood's classes are learning about literary elements such as theme development, irony, and symbolism.
