Playground/Lunchroom Supervision-Grades 3, 4, 5
The links to sign up for playground/lunchroom supervision for parents/guardians of students in grades 3 and 4 are now live!
We are asking that each family (mom, dad, grandma, etc.) choose at least two days to volunteer for the month of December for 5th grade (COMPLETELY FULL! THANK YOU, 5th GRADE PARENTS...please feel free to pick another month if you have not volunteered and would still like to help), January for 4th grade, or February for 3rd grade, each time slot being 11:00-1:00. If you have a child in another grade level, but would find the time to help, please feel free to fill one of the open slots. We are always grateful for the help!
This is a great way for you to interact with your child and his/her classmates during the school day! Lunch/Recess Volunteers should arrive to school at 11:00 and check in at the office. Duties will include supervising students at recess, escorting students to the cafeteria from recess, and supervising in the cafeteria. Volunteers will be with one teacher and two "core" volunteers each day to help direct. Remember that after your two volunteer time slots, you are done for the year, as each month is assigned to a different grade.
Thank you again for your time and service to the students and teachers of SPB! Simply click on the grade level link to pick a time convenient for you: Grade 4 , or Grade 3.

Driveways & Parking Lots Update: TESTIMONIALS:
Here are two recent reflections given with their campaign gift:
You don't take your good friends for granted. SPB is a good friend to me and the witness of so many cars in the parking lot every time I come by inspires me. It says – we are an active parish, a lively thriving parish doing God’s work. Here’s my parking lot donation!
I pay $10 a day to park for my work. That’s something I have to budget each day into my life, just like a meal if I go out to lunch or will brown-bag-it. I’ve been to downtown churches across the world where you have to pay to park. We don’t realize how lucky we are --- and take for granted – that we do not have to pay to park – we have FREE parking. But what you begin to realize, you have to pay to park elsewhere due to maintenance and more. Now it’s time for me, and hopefully the rest of the parishioners, to pay our “maintenance dues!” Thanks for all you and your team do to make SPB beautiful, safe, and ready for the physical building and grounds challenges that everyone, every family faces!
We are so grateful to all who have already made their commitment to rebuilding our parking lot here at SPB! It’s a daunting task to raise one million dollars. But, we CAN do this together! . I know for some this is a sacrifice and might be choosing not to take an extra special vacation or are going to make a commitment to eating in during the month of January. Whatever you are doing to sacrifice and help us - each one of us – do our part to raise the million dollars: THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am so grateful. Let’s get this done quickly so that we may enjoy the fruits of our labors. Remember our giving goal -- $500 for each parish family; more for those who are able, and whatever you are able to give from others! I wanted to share the very nice comments and notes that are coming in to the office with payments.
Please share your “reasons for giving” with me as well!
