New Programs
NWAA Skills Navigator: Check your kmail for the password and log-in. Details on expectations for this program are coming soon!
RAZ Kids: RAZ Kids is an excellent reading program that students should be reading in for 20 minutes a day. In RAZ Kids you can listen to a story, read a story on your own, record yourself reading, and answer comprehension questions. Each activity you complete earns you points. The more points you earn, the closer you will be to moving up a level! Your student's NWEA scores were used to determine their reading level in RAZ kids. However, if the reading level is too easy or too hard, please notify the homeroom teacher immediately.

Choose Own Novel Units
In literature 4 there are several units where you will need to choose your own novel. This is for units 4, 13, 18, and 25.
In order to make an appropriate choice, please refer to your lexile score from NWEA. This was sent to you via kmail. (photo 1)
Then, use this lexile score to choose a book from the OLS. (photo 2)
I would suggest checking this book out at the library, but you could also borrow from a friend or buy it from a bookstore or Amazon.
Lastly, go into the OLS and begin reading and completing the lessons that follow. (photo 3)
