Counselor's Corner

Counselor's Corner will return next week. In the meantime, should you need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out to Mr. Morgan.

Afternoon Pick-up of Students

Students are expected to be picked up by 4:00 p.m. Students who are remaining on campus to attend a sporting event must have purchased a ticket. Students who have not purchased a ticket will be asked to leave.

Spirit Week Guidelines

Spirit Week will take place next week and we thought it would be great to go over some general guidelines for the spirit days.


  • Monday- PJ Day

Wear your favorite pajamas, they must be school-appropriate


  • Tuesday- White lie

Write your “white lie” on a t-shirt, such as “I’m a natural blonde” while having dyed hair. Nothing offensive, insulting, or mentions of drugs or alcohol phrases


  • Wednesday- On Wednesdays we wear Pink

Wear your favorite pink clothing, accessories, etc. It must be appropriate for school


  • Thursday- Anything but a backpack

Must be an object you can carry, avoid things with wheels (such as shopping carts or canoes)


  • Friday- GS spirit wear

Wear your Gray Stone spirit!

2nd Senior Launch Session

This past Thursday our seniors attended their second session of Launch FOR Students. This month's session focused on stress management coping skills. Our next session will take place on Thursday, October 26 at 8:25 in the Main Gym.

Homecoming Game Information

Students will need a digital ticket (or pass) to attend the game.

Students involved in Homecoming/halftime/game festivities will be admitted free.

Mock Trial Competing at National Event

Mock Trial will compete in this weekend's invitational Bulldog Tournament at Yale University. Good luck, everyone!

Knight of the Week

This week's Knight of the Week is Wesley Plyler. One of Wesley's teachers wrote:


"Wesley is a hard worker who constantly engages in class discussions and takes responsibility for his schoolwork. He is not afraid to ask questions and get help if needed. His integrity is exemplary. He is willing to help his fellow classmates and any teacher who asks him to complete a task. An overall amazing young man."

Picture Day

Pictures for grades 9-11 and Middle School students will be Thursday, October 19.


The make-up day will be Friday, November 17.


Remember, don't wear green that day as it interferes with the background.

Don't forget to reserve our Spirit Wall for upcoming special occasions! Renting the wall will allow you to display school spirit, celebrate your child’s birthday, or post staff/student appreciation. Please read the guidelines highlighted below before making your reservation online.
