There will be no school tomorrow, January 18 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

A Message from the Principal

Dear White Oak Families,

I hope everyone is enjoying the three day weekend! As you know all students will engage with the digital learning platform beginning Tuesday, January 19 through Friday, January 22. I am confident that our students and teachers are ready for this transition so learning will continue for everyone! As I said to the teachers, “it wasn’t a matter of if but when,” we would need to return to the digital platform of learning for all students!

While instruction will be synchronous and I encourage all students to engage with the live lessons I do understand that this may not be possible for some families so I want you to know that the teachers are recording their live lessons as they unfold them virtually to the students; they will then post these lessons later in the day for students to view or review as needed. Please understand that all students are expected to engage with their learning and complete all assignments! Thank you for your efforts this week to ensure that your student continues learning!

Please click on this link for important information to aid you as you prepare for next week! This weekend you may want to have your student log onto the computer then access the teachers eCLASS page so they are ready for Tuesday morning! Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we work together to ensure our students receive the rigorous instruction and learning opportunities! I appreciate your continued support of the instructional program at White Oak. Together we will successfully meet this challenge! Thank you!

Take care and be safe!

Most sincerely,

Jean Loethen
