Book-N-Treat
Time: 6:00 - 7:30 pm
Where: Bayyari Elementary Front Parking Lot
Event: Come enjoy a book and candy with us. Students and parents will go around the parking lot and listen to stories at each trunk. After the story, children will be given a piece of candy. The Fire Department Smoke House will be here for families to explore. We will be serving hot dogs and giving away free books! Please come join us.
October Dress Up Days
Monday: Work it out to stay away from Drugs (exercise clothes or sports jerseys)
Tuesday: Team up to stay healthy (each grade level wear the same color)
Kindergarten: Black
First Grade: Red
Second Grade: Blue
Third Grade: Orange
Fourth Grade: Green
Fifth Grade: Gray
Wednesday: Dream of being drug free (pajamas)
Thursday: Show your character by making healthy choices (book character dress up day)
Friday: Too cool for drugs (wear sunglasses and all black for Bayyari Blackout)
Bear Bash Black Out
Time: 1:45 pm
Where: Bayyari Elementary Cafeteria
What: Bear Bash Assembly - students will dress in black and wear glow stick necklaces during the assembly. Neon lights will be on and our normal lights will be off. Perfect Attendance Awards, Bear Pride Awards, and Character Awards will be announced.
As always, parents are welcome!
Counselor's Corner
CAMP WAR EAGLE IS A CHRISTIAN SPORTS, ADVENTURE, AND RECREATION SUMMER CAMP FOR BOYS AND GIRLS AGES 6 TO 17. FROM THEIR OVERNIGHT CAMP LOCATED ON THE SHORES OF BEAVER LAKE TO THEIR DAY CAMP OFFERED AT THE JONES CENTER, CAMP WAR EAGLE IS A PLACE FOR CHILDREN TO TRY NEW THINGS, MAKE NEW FRIENDS, AND GAIN CONFIDENCE IN THEMSELVES.
Several sessions are offered and income-based tuition assistance is available. To apply online go to https://campwareagle.org/myozark/registration, or ask our School Counselor Ms. Bentley for a paper application. Priority enrollment deadline is December 15.

Meet Our Bears!
Ms. Wendy Cain
Ms. Cain was raised in Clarksville, Arkansas. This is her sixteenth year teaching. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's of Teaching.
When not teaching, Ms. Cain enjoys reading, traveling, doing yoga, and walking her dogs! She also loves supporting and getting to know her students.
