Questioning
How pictures help with understanding
Glossary to find the meaning of tricky words
Main topic and supporting details
As the month progresses, we will review and practice applying these skills in our reading and writing:
Digraphs (th, sh, ch, wh)
Blends (br, pr, fr, gr, bl, pl, fl, gl)
Short and long vowel sounds
Silent E (also known as magic E or sneaky E) which help the long vowel say its name (robe, cape, tone, dime, bite)
