Bentley's September Update!
WES 4th & 5th Grade
Updates and Reminders
HELP NEEDED! Please make sure your child brings their water bottle every day to school. If your student needs a water bottle, I will be happy to help find one for them, but I will NOT have cups at school any more. We have gone through entirely too many this early in the school year. If you think your child may have trouble remembering to bring one back and forth every day, you are welcome to send one to stay at school for the year.
SOIL AND WATER FIELD TRIP: Tuesday, September 27
Please encourage each student to bring a refillable water bottle, wear old clothes and closed-toed shoes suitable for the outdoors, and a rain jacket (if rain is anticipated). The school will provide a bag lunch for everyone. Everything will be held outdoors, except restrooms of course! :)
Your child will be responsible for keeping up with their water bottles as they move from rotation to rotation tomorrow. Please remind them to be responsible!

Want to help?
I will soon be scheduling some exciting speakers to come to our class as "Keynote Speakers." I have already scheduled several exciting speakers for our bunch from across the state of North Carolina, some in different states as well! These will be professionals that bring diverse experience to our classroom in regards to occupational experience and cultural background. If YOU would be interested in being a Keynote Speaker for our class to speak about a business you own, job you hold, or culture your family brings, please reach out to me on Dojo!
(I promise I will take lots of pictures and let you know when these exciting folks come to visit!)
Thank you all so much for all our fantastic attitudes and positivity coming into a new school year! I have enjoyed getting to know your students immensely! <3
