A little help on those pesky things called conventions
Why are they Important?
Conventions are at the very base of writing, when not used correctly what is written can have a completely new meaning. This includes grammar, punctuation, and structure. Conventions are what make up the backbone of writing allowing for your creative juices to flow.
Punctuation
Punctuation is like when you sing you have to breath someplace and there are places that the composer dubs for you to breath at, that is what we use punctuation for in writing. Punctuation is how we join or separate clauses using symbols. There are different rule you use when using punctuation they will be listed below.
Grammer
The whole system and structure of a language or of languages in general, usually taken as consisting of syntax and morphology (including inflections) and sometimes also phonology and semantics. That is the description learned by college students but in our terms it is the way we organize words. The English language has many rules and they will be listed below.
The Basics
- Capitalize proper nouns and at the beginning of every sentence.
- Spelling is practice just look up words and memorize.
- Punctuate for the end of sentences and to connect clauses.
- Organize your thoughts and create sentences that work.
