The Aswan Dam was built in either 1960 or 1970. Its located on the Nile River in Aswan, Egypt. Some landforms its by are Nile River and East African Drainage Basin. The dam was made to controls floods, make hydroelectricity. It uses turbines and does not pollute the water. The dam decreases number of fish.
Lake Tana Is located on the Nile River. It has green water and rocks around it . and there's a tiny island in the middle of the lake. Its the end of the Blue Nile. Some interesting stuff about it is there an island, lots of water vapor, water has an interesting color.
Lake Victoria and The Nile Delta
Lake Victoria is a large shallow lake in Uganda. Its has tall grass around it, clear water, long plants, its very open. It is 26,800 square miles. Its the largest lake in Africa and second largest freshwater lake in the world.
The Nile Delta has trees, desserts, and it flows into a lake. It is the start of the Nile river. It is around dessert like area. It is in upper Egypt. It goes towards the Mediterranean sea. the Nile delta formed thousands of years ago. It is in a v shape.
