Some thoughts for this Week
Edition #26
Hello Woodsy Owls,
Welcome back from our Presidents' Week Off. If my count is left, we have less that 70 days of school left in this calendar year. YIKES! So much more to learn and so many more fun things to do.
In honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday and to celebrate Read Across America, we will be reading Dr. Seuss books each day and dressing accordingly.
Monday - The Cat in the Hat
Wear your favorite hat.
Tuesday - Sleep Book
Wear appropriate pajamas or comfy clothes. No slippers.
*Be sure to be able to participate in PE
Wednesday - Wacky Wednesday
Let’s get silly! Wear your clothes backward, inside out,
or mismatched.
Thursday - Fox in Socks
Wear silly or mismatched socks.
Friday - Green Eggs and Ham
Wear the color GREEN.
Seuss’s birthday (3/2) READ ACROSS AMERICA DAY!
Lost and Found is getting ready to be donated. All clothing will be on the Garmet Rack in Front of the office for a minimum of 7 days prior to being donated. Please check ParentSquare also. I will be sending photos of the rack often to keep you in the loop.
Between now and the end of the year we have state testing for third grade, a schoolwide talent show, a schoolwide jog-a-thon, and many other super exciting events to plan.
Our District Education Foundation, PHEF, also has a great fundraiser planned. Plan now to join us for a fabulous evening. The details are below this.
Thanks
Have a great week, and remember It takes A Village.......
