Girls in STEM Aircamp Event
GIRLS ONLY One Day Event for grades 4, 5, and 6 This event will take place at the National Museum of the United States Air Force from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on November 9, 2019. Air Camp staff are working directly with museum representatives to implement this exciting STEM event supported by the National Aviation Heritage Area AND the National Women in Defense.
Details:
a. Participants will engage in 5 exciting learning modules.
b. Participants will receive a t-shirt (if they enroll before October 23).
c. Participants will be provided with a boxed lunch (unless they choose to bring their own).
d. Participants will receive a certificate of achievement during a brief 'graduation ceremony' at the end of the event.
e. One flight group will receive the Top Flight Award for their achievements in demonstrating leadership, scholarship, and citizenship throughout the day.
Registration can only be completed online using the link below or visiting aircampusa.org OR aircampusa.com and there is a non-refundable $20 registration fee to be paid at the time of enrollment for the event. We plan to host up to 100 girls for this event on a first come, first served basis. There is no way to reserve spots in advance of completing the registration process online. There is also no residency restriction to attend this event - it is open to all females in grades 4, 5, and 6 from across the country. There will be a waiting list established in case a participant must cancel their participation in advance of the event.

Picture Retake Day is Scheduled for December 6th
If your student was absent on initial photo day, please have them take a photo on retake day.
Don't Be Tardy for the Party!!!
Students are considered tardy between 7:28 and 8:16 a.m. Any student arriving after 8:16 a.m. may be considered absent for the morning (1/2 day absence). Students leaving early between 12:35 and the end of the school day will be considered as leaving early. This will be factored the same as a morning tardy.
