I know the clothes battle is not an easy one, but it is going to be cold early this week. Jackets will be a must this week. Our cut off temperature is around 17-20 degrees for lunch recess. If it is a morning or afternoon recess students may still go outside because those recesses are shorter. We will keep an eye on the weather this week, but if you ask any teacher they will tell you they are not fans of "inside" days!

We have some fun events coming up soon. Our Valentine's Family dance will be Friday, February 10 in the gym and cafeteria. Tickets are $10 and the event is 6-9PM. We will also have our Donuts with Dads & Moms event on the morning of February 10. This event will start at 7:30AM in the cafeteria and go until school starts at 8:10AM. Mark your calendars for these two fun events!

Finally, our enrollment numbers are looking very good. The numbers still need to be cleaned up in the system (Enroll Jeffco). I am meeting with SAC this week and will share our most recent enrollment numbers and the impact this will have on staffing for next year. PTA is also meeting this week. Please join us for these meetings in the library.
