Falcon Connection
the week of March 30th - Spring Break
Happy Start of Spring Break!
We know that this Spring Break isn't going to look the same this year as it has in years past. Here are some fun ideas to spend your time over this next week:
Some Ideas:
■ Make little occasions special and have a "family night": have a movie night complete with popcorn, make-your-own pizza night, game night, picnic in the backyard (or family room, if it isn't warm enough), bowling night (with items around the house).
■ Follow your favorite writers and artists. Many authors and artists are using social media to engage with their fans. There are read aloud, art activities, etc.
- We Are Teachers list of Virtual Author Activities
- Read Wonder and Learn - this has so many different ideas, links and videos from author Kate Messner.
■ Bring movement into anything. You don't need fancy equipment — or any equipment — to exercise at home. Best Ways to Exercise from Home
■ Have a virtual hangout with your family and friends. Try to ask a question that’s not about the virus, like: What are fun ways you have spent time at home so far?
■ Listen to podcasts, which will make you laugh, think, or dance.
ALIVE Center
As we all adjust to our new normal, the Alive Center asks you to consider
"What makes you Come Alive?"
In response to the Corona Virus outbreak, some Alive programs will now be available via Zoom to our teens from their phone or computer!
We are excited to announce... Alive Goes LIVE!
We invite you to #PrioritizeYourPassions
At Alive, we believe sharing your passion, creates purpose!
What better time than NOW to encourage our youth to get creative,
share their passions, and continue to connect?
