About College Goal Wisconsin

College Goal Wisconsin is a statewide event that provides FREE information and assistance to families who are filling out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), the federally required form for students seeking financial aid, such as grants and loans. Completing the FAFSA is the first and most important step in qualifying for aid. Work on/complete your FAFSA and enter in a drawing to win a $1000 scholarship!

What To Bring

  • 2017 Federal Tax Return and W2s.
  • 2017 Untaxed Income Records, such as child support or veteran’s non education benefits
  • Information on savings, investments, business assets and farm assets (if applicable)
  • Driver’s License (if you have one)
  • Social Security Number
  • Alien Registration Card or Permanent Resident Card (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
  • Date of birth for parents
  • Month and year of parents’ marriage, divorce or separation

Para aplicar:

***Va a necesitar lo siguiente para completar FAFSA***

- Su planilla de impuestos federales y W2s de 2017, o ingreso estimado, o usted puede completar FAFSA después de rendir sus planillas. Usted puede usar un ingreso estimado.

- Récord de su ingreso de 2017 que no está sujeto a impuestos, tales como la pensión alimentaria o beneficios no educativos para veteranos

- Información sobre sus ahorros, inversiones, activos comerciales, activos agrícolas (si aplica)

- Licencia de conducir (si tiene una)

- Número de Seguro Social (el número de DACA no cuenta para FAFSA)

- Permiso de Residencia Permanente (Tarjeta Verde), si no es ciudadano estadounidense

- Fecha de nacimiento de los padres, y mes y año en que los padres se casaron, divorciaron o separaron
