SO PROUD!!
These are the times I am so filled with Trojan Pride as I witness the outpouring of caring for one of our own. Last night, I had the honor and privilege to present Brenda with a card and the donation money from all of you after our Board of Education meeting. Yes, she was there. This is the type of amazing, dedicated person Brenda is...even with all that is going on in her life, she felt she needed to attend this meeting.
Brenda was overwhelmed by the caring gesture from all of you. Earlier today she sent me a text message that read: "I don't even know how to begin to thank everybody in our beautiful school district and community for all of their support and donations. During this rough time it is going to be a long year but my family can do this. Thank you for helping us. That's why I love this district so much. I'm usually a giver not use to being at the receiving end which is a challenge for me also. Thank you! Thank you!"
This is but one example of what we strive to accomplish with our motto of "All Means All!" All Means All means exactly that..."All" who are a part of our awesome school district matter each and every day. You all have demonstrated through your kind words and actions that we rally around our own when someone one is in need; whether it is a student, a colleague, an administrator, or a family or community member..."in the CSD All Means All" is indeed alive and well and I am so proud of all of you for your part in bringing this motto to life!
I will keep you all informed as the Uren family's situation unfolds. As we learn about what else they may need or how we can support them through this tragedy I will let you know. You have lived into the quote "We rise by lifting others." - Ingersoll
In this tragic situation I am reminded of the saying, "in the blink of an eye, everything can change. So forgive often and love with all your heart. You may never know when you may not have that chance again." I will close with one more "Thank You" to all of you! You have indeed shown the goodness within your hearts and you have taken the opportunity to express the care and love in your hearts for one of our own.
This is what makes this a special place to work and learn.

HOMECOMING 2018
With no varsity football team we had to make a decision on what to do to celebrate our long outstanding tradition of Homecoming. I decided it was only right to extend an offer to play under the lights at the renovated Shaw Stadium to the varsity boys soccer team who is having an outstanding year to date. Coach Johnson accepted the challenge and the student athletes will be the feature event at our grand opening of Shaw Stadium!
The administration continues to develop the night's events. Our objective is to bring out the most school community members we can as well as Clarenceville alumni. As decisions are made on other possible events that night they will be posted on our District Facebook site. At this time the traditional Homecoming Parade is still happening. If any changes in times have to take place we will communicate that to all of you as quickly as we can.
Plans are in the works with the Chamber of Commerce to schedule a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony sometime soon to announce the completion of the project to the public. Thank you for your continued support of our students and student athletes. Homecoming has always been and will remain a point of Trojan Pride!!
