Yellow Schedule
On yellow schedule days, half of our students will physically be in the classroom. Learning while in a yellow schedule can take many forms: A combination of live (F2F) and synchronous virtual instruction. Or, it can a can be a combination of every other day live and asynchronous instruction. Or the intermittent mix of the two, synchronous and asynchronous instruction. This needs to be very flexible based on the most successful practice of instruction and optimizing student engagement.
At VMS students not physically at school will naviagate to the OneNote Class Notebook to work asynchronously through materials designed by the teacher. While students physically at school will work with the teacher in the classroom.
Please see below for the quarter 1 Team 1/2 schedule.
Face coverings are REQUIRED.

Student ID Badges
Students will be issued photo ID badges that will allow them to access the building between 8 am and 4 pm. To gain access, the badge is placed against a card reader that will unlock the exterior door.
Badges will be issued during our school picture days.
The first badge and lanyard will be issued to all students free of charge. However, if a student loses their badge or lanyard, they will be required to pay a replacement fee. ALL students and staff will be required to wear their badge during school hours.
Staff will be checking for badges specifically during advisory. Additionally, staff and students will be monitoring that everyone in the building either has a badge or a visitor pass throughout the school day. Students CAN opt to provide their own school appropriate lanyard if they choose.
Students use their badge to enter the building in the morning, check out library items, and pay for their school lunch.
