Welcome to Leadership in Blended Learning Central Ohio Cohort

Welcome to Central Ohio Leadership in Blended Learning Cohort brought to you by The Ohio Blended Learning Network and the ESC of Central Ohio!

As a participant you will be an important part of the national conversation and will join a community of your peers leading this important transformation. The program will include a five-month course with online and face-to-face components that will enable principals to experience blended learning as learners.

Key questions that will be addressed include:

·What is blended learning?

·What are the goals of a blended learning transition in my school?

·How do I establish a culture for blended learning in my school?

·What supports do teachers need to transition to blended learning?

·What systems need to be in place for a successful blended learning transition?

·How do I plan for sustainability of the blended learning initiatives?

This program is designed in a blended learning format, which will enable principals to experience blended learning as they lead the transition in their schools.

The program will include a chool-based Blended Learning Road Map as a culminating product.

Expectations

·Attend and complete all of the activities in the face-to-face sessions and actively participate the online pre- and post-work

·Actively participate in building the participant community

·Complete the Blended Learning Road Map, Conduct Focus Groups and Complete the STNA

Leadership In Blended Learning Orientation Luncheon

The purpose of the orientation meeting is to familiarize you with the Leadership in Blended Learning program, allow you to meet other participants and to get everyone signed in and familiar with the Moodle site. You will also be given time to create, with our guidance, your technology needs assessment survey which is a requirement to complete with your staff as a part of this cohort.


What you will need:

A device

Headphones/earbuds are recommended to have on hand for all face to face days

A Google account, please take the time to set one up before orientation!


A boxed lunch will be provided. Look forward to meeting you all!
