Wonder by R.J. Palacio is a great book about a boy named August who is different from other kids. He was deformed from many surgeries. He has a super overprotective sister, kind mother and father, and a dog named Daisy. The new year starts different because before he was homeschooled and this year his parents are sending him off to a private school. Before the school year starts he goes to his new school to meet his new principal, Mr. Tushman, and some kids that go to this school already. He finds out that Jack could be a potential friend and a boy named Julian could be a potential enemy. Read Wonder to find out how the new school year will turn out, and if true friends will always stick together.

Ben and Rose wish they secretly had different lives. Ben wishes for a dad he never sees, and Rose dreams of a mysterious actress in a scrapbook. When Ben finds an interesting thing in his mom's room, and Rose reads an exciting headline in the news, they both set out to find what they're looking for. Their stories are set 50 years apart: Ben's in words and Rose's in pictures. We recommend this book to people who like adventures that have you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Our opinion is that this book is very interesting because it's told in pictures and words. The theme of this book is "you can accomplish your goals." Read this amazing book to see what happens to Ben and Rose at the very end!

In the book The One and Only Ivan, a brave and strong gorilla named Ivan, who lives in a small enclosed cage at a mall on the highway, goes on a heartwarming journey with an elephant named Ruby and an old but wise elephant named Stella. Ivan discovers his true talent and expresses his feelings throughout the book. What is Ivan's talent? The One and Only Ivan is a heart touching story. We would recommend this book to readers that like adventure and fantasy. The theme of the book is to never give up when you feel down. The point of view is told in Ivan's point of view.

Luckily he has some of his dad's powers so he is able to pull it off. If you are interested in mythical adventures and action, this is the book for you.

I Even Funnier by James Patterson
The book I Even Funnier by James Patterson is about a boy named Jamie who is entering the world's funniest kid contest. We give Jamie a lot of credit for doing this because he's in a wheelchair and he gets bullied by his brother all the time. Will all of the support he gets from his uncle and his friends he has the confidence to win it. We recommend this book because it has a lot of humor and it tells a lot of details about the characters. The theme of this book is never give up on someone even though things can slow you down.

The book Potterwookiee by Obert Skye is a great book. It is about a boy named Robert Columbo Burnside. One day he hears a loud rumbling sound in his closet. He goes to open the door but it won't budge. A few days later he hears the sound again and goes to check on it. Then when he goes into his room he hears it again. Then the door popped open and out walked a little creature. Robert said, "It looks like a mix between Harry Potter and a wookiee." After he got over the shock he took the Potterwookiee outside to show his friends, and a giant owl came down and scared the Potterwookiee.
