A Letter from the Principal
I am so appreciative of the efforts that you have made over the past week to engage your children in learning. You have worked to carve out time for learning, building daily schedules, and connecting your children to their school and peers. We have truly become a community of caregivers with friends, grandparents, and parents working together to ensure all our children are cared for academically and emotionally.
Yesterday you heard from Governor Sununu and our Superintendent that remote learning will continue until May 4th. We understand that this may present a continued challenge for you and your children. Remote learning will continue to look much the same next week as it did last week for our elementary students. Please know that the administrators and teachers are actively working on plans to support all our families during this extension. In order to do this effectively, we need to hear from you about how remote learning has been working for your family so far. Please take a couple of minutes to complete this survey.
If you are having trouble maintaining a stable internet connection or need help navigating Zoom and Google Meetings, the district has resources. Please complete the Need Help form on the district website if you can, or contact me and I will find someone to help you sort through the problem. You can also view the district’s technology FAQ page by clicking here.
Last week I asked for grace as we navigated this unusual situation. I want to remind you to give yourself grace. We are all in a challenging time. We need to take time to breathe, connect remotely with friends and family, unplug, take a walk, and rest. Children learn to care for themselves as we model this behavior. We will get through this together.
Unplug this weekend and be well,
