Middle School Matters
Family Edition: October 23, 2020
Middle School Families,
This newsletter highlights Red Ribbon & Spirit Week, our PRIDE Recognitions, PRIDE Matrix for Hybrid and Distance Learning, Attendance, Technology, The Parent Meeting ppt and several important dates that are coming up.
On behalf of the Middle School Staff, I would like to thank you for all the work you are doing to keep things running smoothly for your child. We know that it is not easy balancing work and family. Yet you are! We see it every morning during drop off as you ensure that our students have their needed items, are wearing their masks and are smiling as they enter. You reach out when the technology is a challenge and model perseverance, patience and kindness for those who are trying to make it better. Again we thank you!
We encourage you to check on your child's grades and progress through parent portal within school tool and reach out should you have questions.
Thanks again for all you are doing!
Mrs. Prinzi

PRIDE Recognitions
We understand the importance of celebrating students who are demonstrating our expectations of being safe, respectful, responsible and community. Our entire staff are able to recognize all of our students- those participating in Hybrid and Distance Learning for demonstrating our PRIDE expectations. The students receive and individualized email identifying what behaviors the student is being recognized for, a badge is placed in their schoology and a connect ed call is made letting families know a recognition has been made. We encourage you to talk with your child about the importance of our PRIDE expectations and continuing to put forth great effort in this area.
