SIX FLAGS UPDATE

We will be handing out permission slips for Six Flags on May 5 & 6 through Math classes at the NGC.


Reminder of Requirements:

*At least a 70 semester average in all classes

*No more than 3 unexcused absences in all classes starting 1/21

*No ISS, OSS, or DAEP in the 2nd semester

*All fines & fees including cafeteria fees

*All make-up hours must be cleared

POWER PUFF FOOTBALL

The PowderPuff Football game is coming up on May 19.

All students who want to play, coach or cheer must have a signed parent permission form and must buy a t-shirt. You do not have to play in order to buy a shirt. All shirts are $12.

VOLLEYBALL FUNDRAISER

Weatherford’s Lady Roo Volleyball Program is fundraising for their upcoming season by putting on a 4 on 4 co-ed volleyball tournament open to all grades 7th and up and yes, this includes adults!! Games will be on May 14th starting at 9:00am. The cost is $10 per player—you may have up to 6 players per team should you want to sub but only 4 players on the court at one time. Spectator entry fee will be $2.00, payable upon entrance. Please submit forms and payment no later than Tuesday, May 10th to Natalie Gonzales, at Weatherford High School Classroom K104. You can get more information from your high school girls volleyball coaches.

CONGRATS ROO SOFTBALL ON A GREAT SEASON!

ROO BASEBALL--DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!

VARSITY

The Kangaroo baseball team beat Arlington Bowie Friday night 6-1 to take home the District title. The Kangaroos were led by the pitching of Parker B who pitched the complete game allowing just four hits and striking out 14. Blake B led the offense with 3 hits and 2 runs scored, while Preston E and Parker B each had two extra base hits. Mike N hit a big 2 run home run to break a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the 4th. The win brings the Roos record to 19-9 overall and 10-4 in district.
