Instructional Survey from Central Office
Parent and Student Reminders:
Any student who is quarantined during M-STEP, MAP or PSAT will have the opportunity to make up these assessments at a later date.
New (as of April 5) Close Contact Guidelines per Barry-Eaton County Health Department:
- Close contacts are considered someone within 6 feet of the COVID Positive person for 15 minutes or longer.
- Close contacts are required to quarantine for 14 days instead of 10 days.
COVID-19 Reminders:
Per the COVID form signed at the beginning of the school year or upon enrollment students may not attend school if they have the one or more of the following:
- Diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal pain
- New uncontrolled cough that causes difficulty breathing (for students with chronic allergic/asthmatic cough, a change in their cough from baseline).
- Sore throat
- New onset of severe headache, especially with a fever.
- In the past 14 days has your child had close contact with a person with confirmed COVID-19?
If a member of your household is being tested for COVID, please remember to keep your student home while awaiting the test results.

Student Reminders:
- Clean all fabric masks.
- Wash all backpacks
- Clean out backpacks (We had backpack clean outs before Spring Break but...maybe more can be thrown out.)
- Charge computers daily!
- Bring computers to school each day!

Yearbooks will be available during Registration in August of 2021.
$22 per book if ordered by April 30.
$25 if ordered after May 3-May 28.
No orders will be accepted after May 28 at the end of the school day (2:20 pm).

Reminder: If you have recently moved out of the TK school boundaries or are a current SOC family with another child wishing to enroll with TK, please make sure that you apply for Schools of Choice prior to May 14, 2021. The applications may be found on our website or at our administration office. If the deadline is missed, your child might not be able to attend TK schools. If you have any questions,

He is described as very nice, relaxed, helpful and cool! Mr. Williamson is always fair to all students and an encouraging teacher. He is super likable and students love to be in his class. Mr. Williamson is just AWESOME!

Summer Programs
High School and Middle School AI + Social Good Programs by Stanford PhD Students
Inspirit AI offers live online (25 hours) enrichment programs that expose high school students (Grades 9-12) and middle school students (Grades 5-8) to fundamental artificial intelligence concepts and the opportunity to build socially impactful projects in areas including art, journalism, education, and more. Taught by our team of graduate students from Stanford and MIT, students receive a personalized, interdisciplinary learning experience with a student-teacher ratio of 5:1. Students of all backgrounds may apply here for our high school program and apply here for our middle school programs by April 30th.
