Kathryn Otoshi visit and book order

Wagner and Ripley Elementary schools will be hosting writer Kathryn Otoshi in October. Ms. Otoshi will be visiting Wagner on Tuesday, October 14th. She is a fantastic and award-winning writer whose books Zero, One, and Two are sophisticated, yet simple stories about, among other things, how to treat others with respect and dignity.

We'll share more details as we get closer to the event. In the meantime, anyone who would like to place an advance book order for one of her books may do so this week. Order forms were sent home with students and completed forms with money are due back this Friday. You can learn more about her books at her website: http://www.kokidsbooks.com/.

Homecoming Activities

It's Litchfield's Homecoming this week. To help celebrate, Wagner students will get a visit from the LHS Drumline and Homecoming Court today. Then, this Friday afternoon (weather permitting) Wagner students will line 6th Street for the parade and wave their "Go Dragons!" signs.

Technology Questions and/or Issues

Some parents have contacted me over the last couple weeks with various iPad issues. That's great, please continue to do so. You can email me at lstordahl@isd465.org.

iBoss log-in screen

For students who are taking the devices home and accessing wi-fi off campus there will be a screen when they access "Safari", the default search engine on devices, that is a "Mobile Network Login Screen" (or iBoss). This screen is expected and is the name of the filter on the students' devices. Students have to login to the filter in order to access the internet from off campus. In order to do this, students will use their Active Directory information.
