Quick Reminders

  • Hydrate and eat well prior to every rehearsal AND after every rehearsal. The health and safety of our students is the most important thing!
  • All students and a parent/legal guardian are required to attend a meeting this Tuesday, 8/2/22 at 6:30pm. More details are below.
  • Fees are due and payable Tuesday, August 2nd. Booster officers will be on hand to take and assist with payments at the mandatory meeting on Tuesday evening.
  • Everyone has done a great job of being on time! Keep it up!

  • Start times are when students are expected to be in place, with all required materials, and ready to go.
  • It is suggested that students arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to start times.
  • CCHS Band Staff adheres to end times as best we can in order to respect the time of all Creek Band families.
  • Please be prepared to pick your student up no later than 15 minutes after the end time of each event (unless otherwise communicated by your student.)
  • Absences MUST be communicated ahead of time whenever possible by emailing Mr. Fincher at (Percussion should e-mail Mr. Fincher and Mr. Fish at Guard should e-mail Mr. Fincher and Mr. Zamora at

Parents, Family, and Friends - Join every performance!

Parents, Family & Friends - We Want and Need Your Help!

It is impossible for the students to be successful at football games and marching contests without the help of parents, family, and friends taking an active role!

It is a ton of fun and your appreciation and understanding of what your student is doing will change dramatically!

Here is a short list of what we need help with at every contest and football game:

  • Get food to students. — We feed every student at every game and contest. We need people to make sure that all students get a meal and organize the quick and efficient delivery to the students.
  • Help setup and move front ensemble (percussion) equipment and props. — The students do a ton of work to set everything up, but they need help moving things onto the field and in and out of warm up areas and the stadium.
  • Chaperone busses. — Any time we travel, we need at least one adult on the bus with students. This is a super easy job as our students are fantastic. Literally just ride the bus and make sure that everyone is onboard. (After riding the bus, there are tons of opportunities to still help at the event.)
  • Pickup, setup, and help distribute water/ice. — We always want to make sure that the students have enough water at all events. We need people to help obtain ice, load coolers, and make sure that water is always available to our students.

As you can see - it takes a ton of people to make the students successful! Please sign up for one or more of our upcoming events. This link is always updated with the upcoming events.

There is even a spot for you to sign up if you just want to help but don't know where to start!

Upcoming Events

Mandatory Parent/Student Meeting

Tuesday, Aug. 2nd, 6:30-7:30pm

2305 East Main Street

League City, TX

All Creek Band students and one parent/legal guardian must attend this meeting. There are no exceptions to this expectation as we will cover critical information needed prior to the start of the school year.

If you have an unavoidable conflict, please communicate with Mr. Fincher at or call 281-284-1873. I will work with you to communicate the information another way if needed.

The meeting will take place in the CCHS Auditorium.

  • Health, behavior, emergency, and other forms
  • Travel Information
  • Financial Information
  • Booster Information

This meeting is scheduled for an hour...but will generally be done more quickly!

Creek Welcome Back Performance

Monday, Aug. 8th, 8:30-10:30am

2305 East Main Street

League City, TX

All students will perform for the Clear Creek HS Faculty and Staff.

We will give details regarding attire later in the week. Students will not be permitted to remain on campus after the performance as all staff will be in meetings.

The Band Hall will reopen at 4:00pm.

Family & Friends Preview Performance

Friday, Aug. 12th, 8pm

All family and friends are invited to our annual preview performance in Veteran's memorial stadium!

We can't wait to show the first results of all the students' hard work!

Let's Go To New Orleans!

Spring Trip, 2023 - Friday, 2/17/23 through Sunday, 2/19/23

If you/your student has never been on a HS Band Trip — you don't know what you are missing!

We are excited to announce that our Spring Performance Trip this year is to New Orleans, Louisiana! This is a fantastic trip for a HS Band and provides some unforgettable musical and educational experiences.


Per person price is $785.

Payment Schedule

  • August 18th - $200 (Deposit)
  • September 15th - $200
  • October 13th - $200
  • December 17th - $185
