Invoices for school supply fees have been added to your account in myschoolbucks. There is a fee from myschoolbucks that is attached as well. LPS has always paid this fee in the past, but will now be paid for by the families. LPS will no longer accept any forms of payment except though myschoolbucks. All fees will need to be paid by October 7.

Early Release at 12:15pm on Sept. 30th

Don't forget that elementary will have an early release day on Friday, September 30th. School will be dismissed at 12:15 pm and all students need to be picked up no later than 12:35 pm. We will still have lunch that day, so don't forget to pack a lunch.

In the meantime, JEANS DAY on 9/16

We don't have our class shirts, so they will just wear a uniform shirt this time or any LPS spirit shirt

We are ordering class shirts next week so please be sure to reply to the teacher's email about your child's size.

When we have a jeans day, that means:

  • Students can wear any denim bottoms in good repair (shorts, pants, skirt with modesty shorts, skort, capris). No holes or rips.
  • They can be any color.
  • Everything else stays in uniform code: shoes, socks, etc.
  • Usually this is paired with their class shirt, but as stated above, this one will just be a uniform shirt or any LPS spirit shirt.

Keep Your Information Up to Date

Please make sure you always keep the Ascender Parent Portal up-to-date so that we have current contact information (email, phone, address) so that you get all the communication you need. Make sure that you have multiple people listed in ascender for emergency reasons.

If you can't update something in the system, just email it to our registrar Alicia Scott ascott@lpsfrisco.com

Chaperone Background Checks

Each year, we need to complete a background check on parents who would like to come and serve at the school or chaperone students in any way. Do this as soon as possible to not delay you attending any field trips or being able to help out in your child's classroom. Please follow this link to complete the form for this year.

Dress Code

Please be sure that your child is in dress code every day. Teachers have been sending reminders home if your child has not been. We want to give everyone until 9/6 to correct any concerns regarding dress code.

Student handbook - is linked here if you need to look up dress code guidelines.

Lunches Tuesday- Thursday

We are still partnering with Wholesome Foods Catering to provide restaurant-prepared lunches on Tuesday-Thursday. Just visit their website to set up your account and order as much as you like. Here is some basic information.

Please be sure that you are updating your teacher's name and student's grade level for the current year. This is assure that lunches are delivered to the correct teachers and rooms.

Leave a Legacy at LPS

Leadership Prep School is sponsoring a brick campaign to provide on-going support for the purchase of equipment, supplies, and other resources that contribute to the excellence of the computer-immersion and project-based learning programs for LPS students.

By purchasing a brick, you have the opportunity to have your child's name or family name engraved on a brick that will be installed in front of the Secondary Campus building.

COST OF EACH BRICK: $75 includes 16 characters per line for up to three lines of engraving.

The order form for personalized bricks can be accessed on MySchoolBucks.com by clicking on “School Store” then “Browse All items” then “Personalized Brick”.
