Recess
We were LOVING the warm weather this week for recess! Again, we have loved having the opportunity to allow the students to enjoy a recess. This has really helped encourage great behavior this last few weeks of school. Students must earn this privilege by following classroom expectations. Has your child earned recess this week?
Event Information
Take Me Out to the Ball Game!
We are getting closer to our super fun field trip! We will send home more information very soon! Students will need to pack a sack lunch. Remember we will not have refrigeration so keep that in mind when shopping for your child. Don't forget about a drink! Water is the best! Students may also bring some snacks to have during the game!
Items to think about bringing:
- Wear sunscreen
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Glove
What not to bring:
- Cell phones (Students will have to bring another camera to use.)
- Money (Students will not be allowed to purchase things from concessions.)

British Words Vs. American Words
Students in Mrs. Denton's room are getting ready to read James and the Giant Peach! Students were engaged in pre-reading activities. One of those activities was finding the difference between British and American words.
Sabastian & Jonathan
Sabastian and Jonathan read a summary of a book and worked hard to identify elements of a fantasy novel! Super job boys!
David & Kayden
David and Kayden were getting very comfortable reading their summary! That's exactly the way I like to be when I read!

We are getting ready for Survivor Day! Mrs. Omeish's class came up with the name, Purple Vipers! Mrs. Bair's class are the Pink Nija's! Watch out!
**Students may start bringing in T-shirts to tie-dye and $.50 to help pay for the dye itself!**
