Teddy Roosevelt :
Roosevelt Report Card
Leadership: A
Teddy deserves a A for many reasons. Many people liked him and thought he was good president. He was determined to get the things done that needed to be done. He was a man of the people. He did what was right for America and didn't favor any political groups. He took down big business. He also made working condition better. This is why Teddy deserves an A.
Organization:A
During his presidency he had many accomplishments and you can not do that without being organized and determined. One of them was the Hepburn Act. Another was the Meat Inspection Act. His plan for reform was popular among the Americans. This is why He deserves an A.
Professionalism:B
Teddy's presidency can be looked at as both professional and unprofessional. However, I feel he was more professional then not. Teddy has strong values witch led hi to his success. One thing he said that was unprofessional was "speak softly and carry a stick".
Contribution:A
I gave him an A because he changed America in a good way. He made life easier by improving working and living conditions. This is why i gave him an A.
William Howard Taft
Taft's Report Card
When Taft first took office, the American people were confident in him due to Teddy's recommendation for him to be senator. As time when people's opinions changed on the thought of Taft. The people felt he turned his back on Roosevelt, who the people loved.
Organization:B
While Taft was in office he was known as a "Trust Builder". While in office he had launched more anti trusts acts then Roosevelt did. Taft was also responsible for Federal Reserve Act. This is why he deserves a B.
Professionalism:C
Taft helped improve his image by helping other countries. One of the countries he helped was the Philippines where he sponsored land reforms. Taft's image was not favored due to all of Teddy's accomplishments.
