Up On the Hill

Anderson-Shiro Secondary: January 18 - January 22

I hope that you enjoyed this three day weekend. I took advantage of the beautiful weekend and spent it with my family outdoors and doing a little, almost, spring cleaning. :o)

At our last campus collaborative you all brought a copy of your lesson plans. I appreciate the great conversation and awesome collaboration. Make sure that you are assessing your lesson plans and incorporating the "I do, We do, You do" during your classroom instruction.

As a reminder, our district goals are quality lesson, quality instruction and quality assessments. In order to help to assess the quality of your instruction and lessons it is important that you are all turning in your lesson plans. I will be using them as one way to ensure that we continue to meet our goals. I have already begun conversations with some of you about your lesson plans and have given specific feedback. If we have not met about your lessons please know that feedback will be given and that the purpose is growth towards our goal which will ensure student success.

I appreciate all that you do and know that this time of the year can be pretty busy, but together anything is possible. Please know that Mrs. Carroll, Mr. Thompson, the CLF's and myself are all here to support you. I also know that I have seen a lot of teamwork amongst you so don't discount the help that your classroom neighbor may be able to offer as well.

"Team work makes the dream work!" :o)

Campus Collaborative

We will have our next campus collaborative on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 starting at 3:45 in the CLC room; please make plans to attend.
