I receive scholarship and college information all the time.

I will try to post them here and I always forward to the students school email. It is very important for them to check their email at least once a day.

I have updated the Counselor's Corner webpage. It includes a lot of information for graduation, ICAP, each class specific information, resources, etc.

Technology Addiction Awareness Scholarship: For students who recognize the pitfalls of technology addiction. To apply, students simply need to write 140 characters completing the sentence: "Instead of spending time with technology, I'd rather..." - Due Jan 30, $1000, 1 winner
Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarships: Scholarships for vegetarian or vegan students - Due Feb 20, Up to $10k, 3 winners

Science Saves: Create a 20-30 second video answering the question “What has science done for me?” or “What has science done for somebody I know?” You will be judged on your ability to highlight how science saves in a succinct, creative way with original photos, video clips, and text. Be sure to add #sciencesaves to your video. $10,000

•The Bridging the Dream Scholarship for High School Seniors: The Sallie Mae Fund will award (25) $10,000 scholarships to high school seniors who plan to enroll in a two- or four-year degree professional certificate, or vocational training program. Seniors who excel inside and outside of the classroom and demonstrate financial need can apply NOW through Feb. 28 at www.salliemae.com/landing/bridging-the-dream.

•The Completing the Dream Scholarship: The Sallie Mae Fund will award (185) gap scholarships worth up to $2,500 each to minority students and those from underserved communities who are on track to graduate but are at-risk of not completing due to financial emergency or unpaid school bill. Students can apply NOW for the Completing the Dream Scholarship at www.salliemae.com/landing/completing-the-dream.

Academic Scholars Program

Academic Scholars will receive a scholarship to help cover the cost of room, board, tuition, books and incidental fees for up to eight semesters.

The amount of the award varies according to the type of institution the student attends and qualification status. The annual scholarship amount for automatic qualifiers is $5,500 for students who attend the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University or The University of Tulsa; $4,000 for students who attend any other Oklahoma four-year public or private college or university; and $3,500 for students who attend Oklahoma two-year colleges.

Free application month! Apply between Jan. 18th and Feb. 21st and there will be no application fee.

At ESU the early bird gets the worm! Students who are admitted by March 1 are entered to win one of five $1,000 scholarships.
