meriwether Lewis
2.was a family man since his only brother was younger and his Dad died when he was 5
3.he was a army soldier before the expedition
4. lewis did not commit suicide he was actually murdered
5. lewis was accidentally shot by one of his own men during the expedition hunting
6. His last words were "I am no coward, but I am so strong; it is hard to die."
Sacagawea

3.she grew ill and lewis and clark cared for her
4. in a flash flood she nearly lost her son due to drowning (her infant)
