What's Buzzin' at Bryant
Week of January 8, 2024
A Message From Mrs. Johnson
Hello Parents! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.
We are looking forward to having all of our little bees back on site. School it set to resume Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
Can you believe it? There are only 5 more months left in the school year. It always suprises me how quickly the school year flies by when we return from Christmas break. It is going to be very important to each students academic success that they be in school everyday, on time, ready to go.
Trimester 2 progress reports will be going home with students on January 19th. For T2, only those students who are considered to be "at risk" will recieve a progress report. Please be sure to check your child's backpack. If you have any questions regarding your child's academic progress, reach out to the classroom to discuss supports that are in place at school and strategies that can be used in the home to help improve a students progress.
In honor of the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., there is no school on January 15th. As always, thank you for unwavering support. Have a great week!
Movie Day was a success!
Team Bryant had another successful movie day! 2023 marked 30 years that Bryant has loaded up buses on the last Friday before the winter break and the entire school staff and students head to the movies. A great time was had by all! Thank you so much to Harkins Theaters for their continued support of this event. A special shout out to RUSDs transporation department for sponsoring the buses each year. Your generosity is appreciated!
We would love to continue this tradition for another 30 years. At this time, we are seeking sponsors to support us financially to ensure this awesome event stands the test of time. If you are a business owner or know of a business owner that may be interested in partnering with us, please have them contact Mrs. Johnson. Thank you in advance for your support!
Tis the season to give!
Thank you so much to Mr. Perez and the Perez family for gifting two of our Bryant students with very special gifts for the holiday. The looks on the students faces was priceless. Thank you so much for you kindness and generosity.
