In day to day life as an architect, there are many things you would need to do during the course of the day. Firstly, an architect needs to design and sketch building plans for clients as well as write the instructions for the builders and contractors to be able to follow when building the structure. Secondly, an architect needs to coordinate the activities of the builders, constructors, and other people involved in the making of the structure. As well, an architect needs to make sure the structure is built in the amount of time given and is in the budget range of how much the people can spend on the structure. Architects usually either work on the job site or in the office; depending on the days. Though, some architects are actually self-employed. The workplace can be a rather stressful place thanks to having to meet deadlines and making sure you don't go over budget when it comes to building the structure you are.
The Pay Range
Depending on if you either are working for a company or are self employed, the salary can vary. If you work in a company, your salary usually consists of 50,000 to 100,000 dollars a year -though it depends on the expierence and economy at that point in time-. A self employed architect usually gets paid by the project.
