Magical Family Fun Night!
For questions, please contact Emily Overhaug.
Swim Season-Finals!
Overall, the Saint Marks girls placed 6th and the boys placed 10th in the state/finals. These rankings reflect an overwhelming number of personal bests and a collective team effort. The 6th place finish by the Marker ladies came with a trophy! The team had a state champion in 2 events – Liam Neary in the 100 Individual Medley & 100 Freestyle.
Way to go Markers!
Jump Rope for Heart with the American Heart Association!
Saint Mark’s is thrilled to participate in Jump Rope For Heart as we work together to raise money for the American Heart Association and learn how nutrition and being active can help us live longer, healthier lives. We are kicking off next week during PE classes and information is being sent home with each student. Over the next couple weeks we will be having fun in class learning about heart health and how we can help save lives.
Meet the Scare Squad and learn about their heart-healthy messages HERE
ALL STUDENTS can earn an official Scare Squad Wristband simply for registering online– no donation required. Fundraising is optional. For those choosing to fundraise, collect the Scare Squad members as you raise donations for Jump Rope For Heart. Once online, your student is encouraged to take a Health Challenge and then get started.
It’s easy to Get Started…
1. Register Online: Saint Mark’s Catholic School Jump Rope For Heart
2. EMAIL – Login to your HeadQuarters and use the email tool to ask friends and family for their support with a donation.
3. DOWNLOAD THE MOBILE APP and bring your monsters to life and fundraise on the go – Jump/Hoops app available for iPhone or Android. Share on Facebook, Twitter or by text!

Thank you so much for supporting our school and the American Heart Association.

Saint Mark's Track 2018
Saint Mark's Parents,

I have the gym reserved from 6:00-7:45 on the following dates:

Grades 1-5 Cubs will practice from 6:00-7:00
Grades 6-8 Lions will practice from 6:00-7:45
Parents, please have children ready to run outside around the block, on the sidewalk.
If you can help watch at alleys for me that would be great (Parent volunteers are more then welcome!)
Water bottles are also welcome, water only please no sports drinks.
I am looking forward to another track season with Saint Marks and will have more information to come soon. We should be able to practice at SPA this year again, with this late winter the track may be thawed by May.

Grand Olde Saint Mark's Days
Grand Olde Saint Mark's Days is coming up on May 18th and 19th, and the festival committee is kicking off its appeal for volunteers.
New this year! Teams and groups of people can sign up together to volunteer for an area/time at the festival. This is a great way to build relationships with other members of the school community, so take advantage of this opportunity to get a volunteer spot with other parents/guardians in your child's grade level.
The link to sign up is below. You will need to sign up individually but please write the group you are representing in the comments section of the sign up to alert others which group you are a part of (e.g. “first grade parents”).
The sign-up link will go out to a larger audience after April 14, so talk with other parents and grab a spot now!
