What's Happening at CMS
Dear CMS Families,
Spring is in the air, except for the anticipated snowstorm this weekend, but it is staying light out longer!
Here are some of all the great happenings this week at CMS!
This month students are submitting a writing piece or drawing about how we treat each other in order to make us "Better Together" at CMS. Students were asked to think about our core principals: Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Kind. Students are writing and drawing pictures to show what this looks like for our CMS community. Students who submit their ideas are entered into a weekly prize raffle. Beginning next week we will read a submission every day over the announcements, these will be displayed by the main office.
Battle of the Books Competition Continues
Last week two WGHS student leaders came to speak to students about the High School Umoja (Unity) group. They will be meeting with students again who are interested in starting a student led leadership Unity group here at CMS.
This week, in celebration of World Language Week, students were featured on the announcements and told us about themselves in a language other than English, that is spoken at home and in our Camillus Community.
It is Music in Our Schools Month and as always our orchestra, band, and chorus students did not disappoint. Thank you to Mr. Schuessler, Mrs. Emerson, and Mrs. McConnell for their dedication and talent. A huge shout out to our dedicated and talented students. Amazing performances. Thank you to all the families who attended.

Thank you to all of the parents who were able to participate. Our next meeting is April 19th @ 5:00 -7:00PM
