Week 5

Do you have your tin whistles?

On week 7 the children will begin using their tin whistles during class time. They will need to bring their tin whistle to class each week beginning Oct 5th until we break for Christmas. Some of our classes will be playing their tin whistle during our program in December. Encourage your child to practice playing their tin whistle....I always encourage my children to practice outside! ;)

Our family camping trip will be Oct 9th and 10th at Greenleaf State Park in Braggs. If you can't stay the night, plan on joining us Saturday for fishing, hiking and smores. I have reserved two sights in the Gobbler's Ridge section of the campground. We are very close to the bathrooms and right next to the playground. Cost is $12 per night, per tent. Greenleaf has a stocked, kid's fishing pond, nature center, mini golf course and other family friendly activities. I am looking for a few people to help with planning our activities (and meals) at the campground as well as someone to lead worship and a short devotion on Sunday morning. Please email me for more details and to register for this trip.

School Pics

I just spoke with Stephanie, our photographer, and she was so impressed with our families! She is still working on editing but plans to have everyone's pictures finished by Friday. You will receive an email from her with a link to your photos. You can order directly from the site. She will then print the pictures and bring them on community day. If you were unable to attend picture day, we will have make-up photos during CC on Oct. 12th.

I will have your t-shirt orders on Monday. If you haven't paid for your order, please bring your cash or check on Monday and place it in the appropriate envelope.
