Fitness Challenge
Students love Station Activity Day at Half Day. It allows students free play while interacting and cooperating with their classmates. Activities are chosen to help students improve cardiovascular endurance as well as to improve muscle strength and endurance. Help Us Honor Our Veterans
Half Day School is looking to honor our family veterans beginning at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11. Please let us know if you have a family member who is a veteran in the military and could attend our Veterans Day event. Please complete the Google form with your veteran’s information. We will then reach out to you about this special event.

If your child is new to Half Day, join Principal Mau from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29 for an informal gathering. Please register for this event through this Google Form.

Impact of Marijuana Legalization on Children
Attend this powerful seminar on Marijuana 2020 at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5 to learn how the legalization of marijuana will impact our families.
Dr. Susan Sirota, pediatrician and assistant professor at Northwestern Univiserty will answer questions like:
- How does marijuana impact the developing brain of children and teenagers?
- How is today’s marijuana different than the marijuana of prior generations?
- What topics should we consider as we discuss the legalization of marijuana with our children?
- What impact will legalization have in our community?
