Autumn Gardening at the SCE Garden Patch
As winter approaches, we are in need of donations of garden soil and chrysanthemums.
Miss Coffman also needs soil to fill the Garden Tower so she and her students can fill it with plants.
Feel free to stop by the Garden, say hi to the chickens, and admire the growing pumpkins.
Extra Cornhole Set?
Do you have an extra cornhole set lying around? With the Health Department guidelines in place, students will be spending recess in "zones" and we would love to have cornhole for them to play. Contact the Main Office at 317-915-4270 with questions or if you have a cornhole set to donate!
Accidents Happen. Help your Student Be Prepared
- Please keep a change of clothes and shoes in your child's backpack.
- Accidents and spills happen frequently at school, so extra clothes are a big help.
- If your child is prone to bathroom accidents, please include underpants and socks.

SNACK ATTACK
Sand Creek Elementary is pleased to announce the Snack Attack program for those students in need. This program, supported by the Fishers Youth Assistance Program, is designed to provide students a little extra nourishment for the weekend until they can receive a hot meal at school.
Here's how the program works:
- Your student will pick up a small sack of food to be taken home. The sack is filled with individually wrapped snacks such as granola bars, fruit cups, pop tarts, peanut butter/crackers, Goldfish crackers, etc.
- The type of snacks will vary each week.
Please let us know if your child has a peanut allergy
as he/she will receive a special bag of peanut-free snacks.
- There is no cost to you or the school.
- The program starts after Labor Day.
- Your student will receive their Snack Attack sack on one of their in-person days during Phase 2.
If you are interested in having your student participate in FYAP's Snack Attack or have questions, please contact Jennifer Jacks, School Counselor at jjacks@hse.k12.in.us or 317-915-4270.
