By: Zoe Rodriguez
Differences
The book had maps and showed the direction armies were headed, they had more information on how soldiers felt and what they did to prepare, and the book talked about the people in depth. The website has more evidence/detail on the events that happened, the website explains only the dates and only the important highlights/information of the battles.
Similaritie #1
They both had details about events taken place in the American Civil War.
Similaritie #2
They have a lot of information on the Generals and important people during the war,
Similaritie #3
They both talked about the dates and where battles took place.
Which one is more detailed?
I think that the book is more detailed because it shows the Civil War in a more personal way and it makes it easier to comprehend the content they explain. Also it makes it much more interesting and makes you want to learn more about the Civil War. The website only explains the important information and not all of it which definitely makes the book flow easier and makes it easier to understand when you're reading it.
